Paint Correction

Professional machine paint correction that removes swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and water spots to restore depth, clarity, and gloss. Two levels — Stage 1 for light imperfections, Stage 2 for moderate to heavy defects.

What It Solves

Why Paint Correction

Swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, and water spots rob your paint of its depth and gloss — and no amount of washing or waxing will bring it back. Paint correction is the machine polishing process that physically levels the clear coat to remove those defects and restore a flawless, mirror-like finish. It's the difference between a clean car and a truly flawless one. Here's how to tell it's time:

  • Your paint looks dull, hazy, or swirled — especially in sunlight
  • You see fine spider-web scratches across the paint surface
  • The paint is oxidized, faded, or chalky
  • Hard water spots are etched into the clear coat
  • You want a flawless, mirror finish before ceramic coating

Our Process

How We Do It

01

Decontamination wash

Premium hand wash with iron removal and clay-bar treatment to strip every bonded contaminant from the paint.

02

Paint inspection & prep

We measure paint thickness and inspect under proper lighting to map every defect and choose the right approach.

03

Machine correction

Stage 1 uses a single-stage polish for light imperfections; Stage 2 adds a compounding stage for moderate to heavy defects.

04

Finishing polish

A finishing polish refines the paint to a high-gloss, swirl-free mirror finish with enhanced depth and clarity.

05

Protection applied

A premium paint protection is applied to lock in the freshly corrected finish and make future cleaning easier.

FAQ

Paint Correction Questions

What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?+

Stage 1 is a single-stage machine polish for light swirls, haze, dullness, and minor wash scratches. Stage 2 is a two-stage process that adds a compounding stage to tackle moderate to heavy swirls, scratches, oxidation, and water spotting for a more dramatic transformation.

Will paint correction remove all scratches?+

Paint correction removes most swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, and water spots. Deeper scratches that have penetrated beyond the clear coat cannot be fully removed without repainting. We inspect and tell you honestly what's possible before we start.

Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?+

Yes — ceramic coating locks in whatever's underneath it. If your paint has swirls or defects, coating over them seals them in. We recommend Stage 1 or Stage 2 correction before any ceramic coating for a flawless, long-lasting finish.

How long does paint correction take?+

Stage 1 typically takes a full day. Stage 2 can take one to two days depending on vehicle size and paint condition. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

How long do the results last?+

The correction itself is permanent — the defects are physically removed. How long the gloss lasts depends on how you wash and maintain the paint. We apply a premium protection topper and recommend ceramic coating for the longest-lasting results.
